Cake Lace Gold, 56.6 g metallic gold lustre powder

Intense gold brilliance, generous size for exhibition pieces and competitions.

Cake Lace Gold powder offers one of the most intense gold reflections for exhibition pieces and sophisticated decorations. Its ultra-fine texture and high coverage allow you to transform a neutral surface into a golden piece from the very first application. Non-toxic but strictly non-edible, it is intended for decorative use.

Directions for use

  • Dry application: use a soft brush on a completely dry surface (gum paste, pastillage), with light circular motions to polish and bring out the pigments.
  • Paint application: mix a small amount of powder with a food-grade thinner such as rejuvenator until you obtain a fluid texture, then use a fine brush to paint borders and details.
  • Not suitable for airbrush use, as the metallic pigments may clog the nozzle.
  • Ideal for wired sugar flowers, decorative figurines, bases, and exhibition structures.

Please note: non-edible and non-toxic formula, strictly for decoration. Do not apply directly to parts of the cake intended to be eaten: remove decorated elements before consumption. Keep the container tightly closed, dry, and protected from light.

Frequently asked questions

Is Cake Lace Gold powder edible?

No, it is non-toxic but strictly non-edible. It is intended for decorative elements that are not eaten: wired flowers, figurines, bases, and exhibition pieces.

How can you achieve gold paint without brush marks?

Aim for a consistency similar to a fine paint: if it is too runny, the mixture damages the surface; if it is too thick, it leaves raised marks. Apply a thin first coat, let it dry, then apply a second coat.

Can this powder be mixed with other metallic colorants?

Yes, you can combine it with bronze powder to create antique gold shades, provided the mixture is reserved for non-edible elements.
