Renshaw Pro Fondant - Emerald Green 250 g
Renshaw Pro fondant, deep green shade, 250 g format for professional cake design.
The 250 g Renshaw Pro Emerald Green Fondant is part of the professional range from British brand Renshaw, a cake design reference since 1898. Compared with the Renshaw Extra range, the Pro line is aimed at cake designers seeking faster kneading, consistent elasticity from one pack to the next, and an even color finish across the entire worked surface, without marbling or paler areas after rolling.
Emerald Green belongs to the cool, premium palette of the Pro range: a deep, elegant green, and one of the most natural shades in the range in terms of its composition. It is favored in the studio for luxury botanical wedding cakes, signature Christmas decorations, and gemstone-inspired palettes.
Key features
- Professional Renshaw Pro range: optimized kneading and an even color finish, designed for intensive studio use.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Renshaw Extra and Renshaw Pro ranges?
Renshaw Extra is the brand's original range, in a classic format for covering and modeling. Renshaw Pro is aimed at professional cake designers, with a more refined palette of shades (Latte, Duck Egg Blue, Dusky Lavender, Rose Fuchsia, Emerald Green, among others), optimized kneading for intensive studio use, and an even color finish from one pack to the next. The basic texture and elasticity remain similar between the two ranges.
How much fondant is needed to cover a cake?
For a round cake 15 cm in diameter and 10 cm high, allow 500 g of fondant. For a 20 cm diameter cake, allow 750 g. For a 25 cm diameter cake, allow 1 kg. For a tiered wedding cake, add the quantities for each tier and allow an additional 20% for scraps.
Does the Emerald Green shade contain a coloring requiring a children's warning?
No, according to the manufacturer's information sheet: the two colorings used, E160a (carotenoids, of vegetable origin) and E133 (Brilliant Blue FCF), do not appear on the list in Annex III of the EU regulation requiring a children's warning. It is one of the most natural shades in the Pro range. Always check the label on the package received, as the composition may vary by batch.
