Step-by-step preparation
- Bring the ingredients to room temperature and preheat the oven to 175 °C (160 °C fan-assisted).
- Pour the mix into a bowl, add the egg, butter, and water.
- Mix on low speed for 3 minutes, until the batter is smooth.
- Add nuts, chocolate chips, or dried fruit as desired.
- Pour the batter into a lightly buttered pan lined with parchment paper, then bake until it has a brownie-like texture.
