Frequently asked questions

How can I prevent the fondant from cracking when covering a cake?

Knead the fondant for 2 to 3 minutes to soften it, roll it out to a thickness of 4 or 5 mm, and smooth it from the center toward the edges without leaving air bubbles. If it cracks, smooth it with your finger and a drop of water.

Yellow tip?

Standard Yellow mixes perfectly with a little Tiger Orange to create an intermediate orange-yellow.

When should I use the Yellow shade?

This shade is particularly suitable for: Lemon drip cake (lemon peels as decoration on a yellow cake); Daffodil decoration (bouquet of modelled daffodils for a spring cake).
