Frequently asked questions
Your questions, our advice
What size cake can this strip wrap around?
Use the formula circumference = diameter x 3.14: the 40 cm strip can wrap around a cake up to about 12 cm in diameter in one piece. For larger cakes, join two strips, placing the seam at the back.
Which mixture should I use with this mat?
Any ready-to-use or homemade edible lace mixture will work. Find them in our edible lace collection.
Is the strip format also suitable for cupcakes?
Yes: cut the strip into shorter lengths to wrap each cupcake in a matching decoration, creating a uniform look across an entire tiered cake.
