Why does the metallic shine tarnish after a few days?
The edible metallic coating tarnishes when exposed to moisture or temperature changes. Keep the original resealable pouch tightly closed and place on the cake within 24 to 48 hours.
Suitable for all types of icing?
Suitable for fondant, crystallized ganache and whipped cream. Avoid very wet royal icing, which can weaken the metallic coating: place on ganache that has already set.
