On fondant, sugar paste, modeling chocolate, or gum paste rolled out to about 3 mm thick.
Is the Pick Up Pad essential?
No, it helps apply pressure evenly, but a rolling pin also works.

Yes, the deer and fir tree designs are made to be repeated across large surfaces such as a wedding cake or a winter layer cake.
