Colour Mill Forest is a concentrated oil-soluble colorant packaged in a 20 ml dropper bottle. Its oil-based formula blends directly into chocolate, cocoa butter, ganache, and rich creams without causing the mixture to seize. Forest gives a deep, matte pine-green shade, darker than Emerald.

Ingredients and allergens
Ingredients: Humectant: E422, vegetable oil (rapeseed), colorants: E102, E133, emulsifiers: E322, E433.
Please note: This colorant is oil-soluble and will not dissolve in water-based preparations (royal icing, syrup). Shake the bottle before use and add the color gradually: it is easier to darken a shade that is too light than to lighten a base that is already too intense. Store away from light and heat, with the bottle tightly closed.

Should I shake the bottle before use?
Yes, slight separation may occur when left standing. Shake the bottle before each use to ensure an even Forest shade.
Can this colorant stain hands or work surfaces?
Like any concentrated colorant, Forest may slightly stain porous surfaces or skin on direct contact. Wear gloves and quickly clean surfaces with hot, soapy water.
How many drops are needed to color 100 g of melted chocolate?
Start with 2 to 3 drops of Forest per 100 g of chocolate or melted cocoa butter. Mix well, then add one drop at a time until you achieve the desired intensity.
