COLOUR MILL
Eucalyptus - Oil-Based Food Coloring 20 ml
Oil-based food coloring for chocolate, ganache, and high-fat preparations.
Colour Mill Eucalyptus is a concentrated oil-based food coloring in a 20 ml dropper bottle. Its oil-based formula blends directly into chocolate, cocoa butter, ganache, and rich creams without causing the mixture to seize. The Eucalyptus shade is a muted, matte gray-green, similar to dried foliage, and quite different from the vivid greens in the range.

Ingredients and allergens
Ingredients: Humectant: E422, vegetable oil (rapeseed), colors: E172, E133, emulsifiers: E322, E433.
Please note: This coloring is oil-based and does not dissolve in water-based preparations (royal icing, syrup). Shake the bottle before use and add the color gradually: it is easier to darken a shade that is too light than to lighten a base that is already too intense. Store away from light and heat, with the bottle tightly closed.
Frequently asked questions
Does this food coloring work in buttercream?
Yes. Since buttercream is a high-fat preparation, Eucalyptus blends in normally. Mix it in gradually until you reach the desired shade.
Can I make the Eucalyptus shade darker if needed?
Yes. Add the coloring gradually, one drop at a time, mixing between each addition: it is easier to darken a shade that is too light than to lighten a base that is already too intense.
How can I make a more pastel version of the Eucalyptus shade?
Gradually dilute it in white chocolate or a neutral base, adding the coloring one drop at a time. The Eucalyptus color intensifies quickly, so it is best to start with a small amount and darken it rather than the other way around.
