Frequently asked questions

How can I prevent the fondant from cracking when covering a cake?

Knead the fondant for 2 to 3 minutes to soften it before rolling. Roll it out to a thickness of 4-5 mm on a surface dusted with powdered sugar and smooth from the center toward the edges without trapping air bubbles. If a crack appears, smooth it with your finger and a drop of water.

What is the difference between FUNCAKES Bright White and Marshmallow?

Bright White offers a more vivid, luminous white, while Marshmallow retains a slightly softer shade. Both have the same natural marshmallow flavor.

How long can a covered cake be kept?

2 to 3 days at room temperature (15-22 °C), protected from humidity and direct light. Do not refrigerate: the fondant will sweat and become sticky when exposed to the cold.
