Pack of 10 A4 Wafer Paper Sheets
Thin edible paper for royal icing, sugarcraft, and cake design decorations.
This pack of 10 A4 wafer paper sheets (standard 21 × 29.7 cm format) from Squires Kitchen is made from potato starch and water, with no added colorants or additives. Thin and neutral in taste and smell, it can be cut, painted, or printed with edible ink, then dissolves in the mouth when it comes into contact with saliva or moisture.
Features
- Pack of 10 A4 sheets (21 × 29.7 cm)
- Simple composition: potato starch and water
- Gluten-free, egg-free, dairy-free, soy-free, nut-free, non-GMO
- Neutral in taste and smell, dissolves in the mouth
- Can be cut with a craft knife, cookie cutter, or food-safe cutting machine

Usage Tips
- Cut out the desired shapes: flowers, butterflies, feathers, strips, decorative plaques
- For a three-dimensional decoration, lightly moisten the edges and shape before drying
- To layer two sheets, lightly moisten the contact surface, press together, and leave to dry for approximately 30 minutes
- Attach the decoration to the cake with a small dab of glucose, cake glaze gel, or royal icing
- Place the decoration as late as possible before serving: moisture from the cake gradually softens the wafer paper
Suitable for traditional British decorations (royal icing, sugarcraft, wedding cakes): flowers, butterflies, and lightweight elements placed on a fondant-covered cake.
Please note: store at room temperature, protected from moisture, heat, and direct light, ideally in an airtight bag or closed container. Sheets that soften or become sticky indicate that the ambient humidity is too high: move them to a drier place. Gluten-free, non-GMO, suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is wafer paper really edible?
Yes, completely. Made solely from potato starch and water, it is digested like any starch-based food and dissolves in the mouth within a few seconds.
Can several sheets be layered for a thicker decoration?
Yes, lightly moisten the contact surface between two sheets, press gently, then leave to dry for approximately 30 minutes.
When should a wafer paper decoration be placed on the cake?
As late as possible, ideally within the hour before serving, because moisture from the icing or cream gradually softens the paper.
