A long, slender shape with lengthwise ridges: the vanilla pod is an exercise in precision. The PX43105S mold, designed by Cédric Grolet, reproduces one half-pod per cavity; two molds assembled in depth recreate the full volume of the closed pod.

Uses
- Complete vanilla pod trompe l'oeil: two frozen half-pods assembled with tempered cocoa butter
- Open half-pod version: elongated individual dessert, served with the textured side facing up
- Madagascar vanilla cream insert in the center of a whipped vanilla ganache
- Matte black or very dark brown velvet spray finish to evoke dried vanilla
Please note: each cavity is a half-pod: for a closed pod with full volume, plan on two simultaneous or successive moldings. Freeze for 8 to 12 hours before unmolding. Dishwasher-safe, although hand washing is recommended to preserve the fine relief.

One half-pod per cavity. To create a full-volume pod, two half-pods from two moldings must be assembled.
