The FUNCAKES Round Cake Dummy made of high-density expanded polystyrene (EPS) reproduces the shape of a cake tier without using real sponge cake. Its 7 cm height is particularly suitable for low or transition tiers in a multi-tiered cake, as well as for small practice supports. Non-edible, it can be covered with fondant, icing, or ganache just like a real cake.
Please note: this support is not edible. It is intended solely for display, practice, or use as a dummy structure; never include it in a serving intended to be eaten. Apply a thin layer of edible glue or melted butter before covering with fondant to ensure good adhesion.

The 7 cm format is suitable for low or transition tiers between two taller tiers, as well as for small display cakes. For a more substantial main tier, the FUNCAKES 15 cm or 20 cm versions are better suited.

Lightly moisten the surface with a brush or apply a thin layer of edible glue, roll out the fondant to 3–4 mm, place it on the support, then smooth it from top to bottom with a smoother.
