The Colour Mill #125 Piping Tip is a stainless steel pastry tip, compatible with all disposable or reusable piping bags, with or without a coupler. Petal / rose profile: it has a petal-shaped opening, used to recreate realistic rose petals and draped or ruffled effects.
Professional-grade food-safe stainless steel: the tip retains its shape under pressure, does not deform over time, and remains dishwasher-safe for intensive use.

Instructions
- Place the tip in an empty piping bag, tip facing the point, and cut the end level with the base for a clean fit
- Fill the bag two-thirds full with your mixture (buttercream, whipped ganache, stabilized whipped cream), pushing the air toward the tip
- Hold the bag vertically approximately 1 cm from the surface and squeeze with a steady motion; rinse the tip in hot, soapy water after use (dishwasher-safe)
Please note: the consistency of the cream is the main factor in achieving an even pattern (it should hold a ribbon on the spatula): rinse the #125 tip immediately after use to prevent residue from drying inside the petal / rose profile.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a flower nail to use this tip?
For separate roses, a rotating flower nail makes the circular motion easier; for a ruffle piped directly onto the cake, it is not necessary.
How should I orient the tip to create an even petal?
Keep the wide side of the opening facing down and the narrow side facing up; rotate the support while pushing slightly outward with each petal.
Is this tip suitable for beginners?
It takes a little practice to achieve an even finish; start with simple ruffles before moving on to full roses.
