The Colour Mill #2G piping tip is a stainless steel pastry tip compatible with all disposable or reusable piping bags, with or without a coupler. Mini closed star profile: it has the smallest opening in the closed star range, designed for ultra-precise micro-details and miniature finishes.
Professional-grade food-safe stainless steel: the tip retains its shape under pressure, does not deform over time, and remains dishwasher-safe for intensive use.

Instructions
- Place the tip in an empty piping bag, nozzle toward the point, and cut the end level with the base for a neat fit
- Fill the bag two-thirds full with your mixture (buttercream, whipped ganache, stabilized whipped cream), pushing the air toward the tip
- Hold the bag vertically about 1 cm above the surface and squeeze with a steady motion; rinse the tip in hot soapy water after use (dishwasher-safe)
Please note: the consistency of the cream is the main factor determining the uniformity of the pattern (it should hold a ribbon on the spatula): rinse the #2G tip immediately after use to prevent residue from drying in the mini closed star profile.

Do you need an especially smooth cream for this tip?
Yes, the very fine opening can clog easily with a grainy or poorly smoothed cream: sift or smooth the mixture thoroughly before use.
