Pavoni liquid purple water-soluble colorant, in a 190 g bottle, is designed for water-based preparations: icings, creams, mousses, sponge cakes, and sugar paste. Its concentrated formula produces a vivid, stable purple when applied with an airbrush or brush, or mixed directly into preparations. This colorant is not suitable for chocolate or fat-based preparations.

Is this colorant suitable for coloring chocolate?
No. This water-soluble colorant is intended for water-based preparations (icings, creams, and pastes). For chocolate or any fat-based preparation, a fat-soluble colorant is required; otherwise, the chocolate may turn white or seize.
What dosage should be used for an intense purple?
The recommended maximum dosage is 50 g/kg of finished product. Start with a small amount, mix thoroughly, and gradually adjust until the desired shade is achieved.
How can I create different shades from this purple?
This purple pairs well with Pavoni pink water-soluble colorant for mauve tones, or with blue for cooler purples. Always test on a small amount before final application.
