Cocoa butter-based spray with a velvety matte finish for entremets
Silikomart Green Velvet Spray recreates the characteristic matte, velvety finish of professional entremets in one step. Sprayed onto a frozen preparation, it instantly sets into a fine veil of colored cocoa butter. Its green shade is suitable for pistachio or matcha tea entremets, as well as nature- and Christmas-themed creations.

Allergens and use: may contain traces of milk and soy. Spray from approximately 25–30 cm onto a well-frozen, unmolded preparation in crossed layers, then allow it to thaw in the refrigerator before serving.

What surface should the velvet spray be applied to?
The spray should be applied to a well-frozen, freshly unmolded preparation, such as an entremet or mousse: the surface cold causes the sprayed cocoa butter to crystallize instantly into a fine matte veil that imitates velvet.
Should you wait before serving a pastry treated with velvet spray?
Yes, it is recommended to let the pastry thaw in the refrigerator for at least one hour after application, allowing the center of the preparation to return to a normal texture.
Does this green spray require a children’s warning on the label?
Yes: the green shade in this range combines quinoline yellow (E104), tartrazine (E102), and Brilliant Blue FCF (E133); the first two colorings are subject to the European regulatory warning concerning children’s activity and attention, which must remain on the product label.
